  • When your mind is sharp

  • When you have high levels of engagement and well-being

LIVE IN YOUR GIFT ZONE

For those of yoy who know me, you know I am all about relationships–logic is secondary.  With that, I am fully charged when I:

  • Lead, create, communicate
  • Those are my gifts.  I was created to do those things!

ASK YOURSELF

What was I created for?  How can I best use my gifts and what am I good at?

  • What activities make you feel that way?

INVEST IN FAMILY AND FRIENDS

  • It is more blessed to give than to receive
  • When you focus on others rather than on yourself it just does something doesn’t it?
  • You feel satisfied, joyful, wishing you could do more, and eager for the next interaction.

ASK YOURSELF

Who can I call today that hasn’t heard from me in a while?  Simply put:  FIND SOMEBODY TO SERVE!

  • What kind of interactions fill you with energy?

ADD VALUE TO OTHERS

  • In order to really make a lasting and significant impact in this world you need to LOVE PEOPLE
  • Every day look for ways to add value to those around you.

ASK YOURSELF

Who can I call today that hasn’t heard from me in a while?  Simply put:  FIND SOMEBODY TO SERVE!

  • What activities done for others strengthen your sense of purpose?

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF PHYSICALLY

  • Taking time for rest and to be physically active is not selfish.  In fact, it’s the opposite.
  • You were put on this earth to use your gifts and make a difference.
  • Therefore, you need to be around for a long time!
  • Being unhealthy, not eating right, etc. can cause depression, lethargy, brain fog, chronic sickness, and a long list of other issues.
  • BOTTOM LINE:  The world needs what you have!  Make sure you are around for it.
  • WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR YOUR PHYSICAL HEALTH?

PERFECTION IS THE ENEMY OF PROGRESS

  • I’m a perfectionist and I will start when it’s perfect.  YOU WILL NEVER GET STARTED!
  • Nobody is perfect.  Nothing is perfect.  Perfection doesn’t exist.
  • GETMO!  GOOD ENOUGH TO MOVE ON
  • DONE is almost always better than perfection
  • Actually, DONE is almost always better than even good!
  • WHAT HAVEN’T YOU STARTED BECAUSE YOU ARE WAITING FOR THE PERFECT TIME?
