As I write this, President Obama is getting ready for a showdown with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. Why the showdown? Because President Obama is trying to broker a Peace deal in the Middle East that will do nothing except cause tensions to explode. If Israel goes back to its 1967 borders, as Obama is suggesting, she greatly limits her ability to defend her borders. The plan is to give the Gaza Strip, the Golan Heights, and the West Bank (including the Eastern old city of Jerusalem) to Palestine. Gaza Strip really isn’t that big of a deal. However, giving up the Golan Heights makes Israel almost defenseless in that region, and the old city of Jerusalem, which includes the Temple Mount is completely not an option for Netanyahu.

What is Obama doing? This is all ABSURD!!!! When the rest of the Middle East is going up in smoke and the general population of so many Middle Eastern countries have had it up to their eyeballs with their dictator leaders, the fight for democracy (which I thought the White House wanted) was being won. Now, with one incredibly stupid speech, hatred may be redirected towards Israel (one of our oldest allies) and off of the evil dictators in the region. What gives?!?!?!?!

Something smells fishy here. Either Obama hates Israel, he is trying to protect an unnamed Middle Eastern dictator for some reason, or he is just not smart. I personally don’t think he is unintelligent. I think he is an incredibly intelligent guy. I don’t agree with his politics or his worldview, but he is an intelligent guy. So that leaves options one and two. I guess time will tell. But in the meantime, unrest will commence in the Middle East, tensions between Israel and the U.S. will intensify, and whenever stuff like this happens, oil goes up. Come on Mr. President!!!! The last thing we need right now is higher oil prices when so many are out of work, can’t make ends meet, are already feeling the pinch of inflation, and a host of other bad news. Precious metals thrive on uncertainty, turbulence, turmoil, and change. So, there are opportunities to be had, but we need to act. Pray, protect, preserve, and prepare for a world that is changing before our eyes.
